1. Main springs may be too tight. See Fig.3.Locate spring adjusting screw. Loosen jam nuts. Loosen spring tension by turning the adjusting stud out in a counterclockwise direction. Retighten jam nuts. Test press.

    2. Shock absorber Fig.5may not be checking properly. Loosen pipe plug on top of shock and check oil supply. If oil is low refill with SAE NO.10 oil. Replace plug and test press.

    CAUTION: DO NOT OVERFILL-USE NON-DETERGENT OIL.

    3. If oil level in the shock is okay, the adjustment of shock my be improper. On left side of press Fig.1 locate adjusting screw "Y" ,   loosen jam nut on the screw and turn the adjusting screw into the shock in a clockwise direction one or two full turns. Retighten jam nut and test press.
